Please Buy Me a Raspberry PI
Or I am going to steal your cat

Dear readers, if you love somebody deeply from your heart, then don't gift them with flowers, chocolates, and luxury items, but with a Raspberry PI because this has the following benefits:
- Cost efficient.
- He/She becomes happy.
- Frequently you can take it from them anytime you want because of its size.
Raspberry PI is a Swiss army knife of the computing world

Ok, enough of the comedy let’s focus on what, why, and how of Raspberry PI.
What is Raspberry PI?
It is a credit low-cost, credit-card-sized bad boy. It is also a fully functional computer designed to promote basic computer science norms by implementing education and innovations. It is the cornerstone behind DIY electronics, hobby projects, and industrial automation applications.
It is a series of small single-board computers(SBCs) that run Linux. It can also run lightweight operating systems designed specifically for the device, such as Raspberry Pi OS(formerly Raspbian).
Despite its small and compact size, it is highly modular and capable of performing tasks like browsing, playing media, programming, and also controlling IoT devices which are the biggest players in the market nowadays.
If we see for general capabilities:
- Processor: ARM-based CPUs.
- RAM: 512 MB to 8GB(depending on the model)
- Connectivity: USB ports, HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPIO pins for interfacing with hardware
- Storage: MicroSD card for OS and data
Why Raspberry Pi?
The big question arises that we have phones, cloud, and big-architectural services so why do we need this Raspberry PI? The why is solved as follows:
- Affordability: The base model starts from as low as the price of a latte coffee around $5, which is Raspberry Pi Zero.
- Versatility: Supports a range of applications from web servers and Proxy managers with some arcade gaming emulators.
- Community Support: Extensive tutorials, forums, and libraries make it beginner-friendly so that also use their functionalities easily.
- Educational Focus: Great for learning programming, robotics, electronics, and electromechanical works.
- Small Size: Because of the small and compact sizes they can able to be fit in the working robotics model and enable the computational features in it.
Advantages of Raspberry Pi
- The biggest and most satisfying part of using is the compactness and portability which can be portable anywhere we require.
- Lower energy and computation consumption
- Uses Linux default which makes up the overall security of the system
- Highly Customizable
- Cost-effective as it is usable for prototyping purposes and experimentation
Challenges with Raspberry Pi
Though various features make the Raspberry PI top-level other cons make it unusable in various use cases, I’m not saying it’s the worst product.
See there is nothing Bad, Everything in this world has a Use Case.
So the major challenges with Raspberry Pi are as follows:
- Limited Computing power for resource-intensive applications
- Those who are newbies to Linux find a hard time figuring out the workings of the ddifferentRaspbian.
- Dependency on the microSD cards, which can wear out over time leads to data optimization.
Considering the challenges, I was a coder for 2 years like most thof e Raspberry PI, I used it once and my experience was good.
Conclusion
So by the end of the article I just want you tell you that if you are right now working on IoT projects or want some testing of the small architectures, you are good to go to buy it. The Raspberry Pi opens doors to endless possibilities.
